  • 1. Deadline for Entries

    The Final Deadline for entries is January 31, 2010. If you’d like an extension and have a compelling reason, you may request a Deadline Extension. For more information call +1.212.643.4800 or email info@hiveawards.com.

  • 2. Eligibility

    To be eligible for the 2009 competition, entries must have been live and/or released sometime between January 1, 2009 and December 1, 2009. Spec ads or ads created solely for entry into award shows are not permitted. All winners must show proof of media buys if requested.

  • 3. Disposition of Entry

    Entries and materials submitted will not be returned and may be displayed, shown, duplicated, published or reproduced for educational or promotional purposes as Hive Awards deems appropriate. By entering, the entrant agrees to hold Hive Awards and any of its affiliated companies exempt from any costs or expenses of any claim arising out of any such use.

  • 4. Entry Fees

    Blogs - $29 USD/entry
    All Other Categories - $179 USD/entry

    Early Bird Discount: A 10% discount is applied to all entries received—and paid for—by November 15th 2009. Volume Discount: Companies or individuals entering 5 or more items are eligible for a 10% discount as well.
    IMPORTANT -- ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE PROCESSING OF THE ENTRIES BEGINS.

  • 5. Payment

    Preferred payment is by VISA, MasterCard or AMEX credit card

    You may also pay via check drawn on a USA bank in US dollars made payable to International Awards Group, LLC. No refunds will be made once judging begins.

    WIRE TRANSFERS: For bank transfer payments, an additional $35 US dollars must be added to the total amount of the bank transfer to cover intermediary bank fees. Call or e-mail for account information and to alert us to your transmission.

    Send confirmation of the bank transfer by fax to our New York office at 1.212.643.0170 or email it at info@internationalawardsgroup.com so we can match your payment to your entry(s). BE SURE TO WRITE OUR INVOICE NUMBER ON THE BANK TRANSFER RECEIPT.

    YOU MUST ALSO INCLUDE OUR INVOICE NUMBER (found on your printer friendly receipt) ON YOUR BANK TRANSFER. -- IMPORTANT -- ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE PROCESSING OF THE ENTRIES BEGINS.

  • 6. CATEGORIES

    You may enter the same work in more than one category; however, each entry will be charged an additional entry fee per category entered.

  • 7. Awards

    Finalists will be announced several weeks after the final Call for Entries deadline in 2010 . Winners will be announced shortly thereafter. Press releases will be sent to international wire services and to the trades. All winners will be published on the Hive Awards website.

  • 8. Translations

    All entry forms must be written in English. Non-English sites will be reviewed using Google Translator, unless an alternate English translation is provided.

  • 9. Credits

    Credits submitted at the time of entry will be used for award purposes unless we are notified otherwise on or before the final submission deadline.

  • 10. Entry Forms

    IMPORTANT: Make sure you are logged in before beginning the online entry process, to prevent loss of data. You are logged in when you can see your name in black at the top of the left margin of the page.

    An individual entry data form must be filled out for each single entry or campaign entry. Sample entry forms are available on the entry website. Be sure to submit all of your entry data before proceeding to checkout. A printable record of the total for all your entries including an invoice for the total amount due will be automatically generated at checkout

    Entries will only be considered complete when payment in full is received.

  • 11. Exhibition and Copyright

    All copies of entries submitted become the property of International Awards Group, LLC, and its affiliated awards companies (hereafter collectively referred to as IAG), for supplemental presentations to educational institutions, trade groups, advertising professionals and the public generally and will not be returned.

    Entrant specifically grants worldwide, royalty-free permission to IAG to display the entries at award presentations, at IAG’s sponsored events around the world or in any other public or private presentation with or without charge whenever and as often as IAG and its representatives see fit without any compensation to Entrant.

    Entrant authorizes IAG the use for such purpose of any trademarks, animated characters, animals, and merchandised items included in the entries. IAG may use entries or license entries or the reproduction of entries in perpetuity, without payment to Entrant or Entrants clients, non-exclusively throughout the world, for use in telecasts, broadcasts, videotapes, Internet, DVDs, exhibits, annuals and any other publications including without limitation, television, radio or Internet presentations featuring the IAG winners.

    Entrant holds or will secure the necessary license for use of all music embodied within the entries. Entrant will fully defend, indemnify and hold IAG, its affiliated companies, assignees and licensees harmless from any talent or other residual charges due to the release of its entries or any third party claims against IAG, its affiliated companies, assignees and licensees resulting from the content of the entries and the intellectual property contained therein. The person submitting entry or entries certifies that he or she has full authority to approve the rights granted herein.
